High Quality Conservatories from Conservatory Outlet

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Conservatory Outlet are a leading supplier of Double Glazing products throughout the UK, specialising in high quality conservatory designs.

Having a conservatory installed is a very big commitment, both from a monetary and personal perspective. Conservatory Outlet understand this and offer a completely personalised service. After getting in touch, you will be contacted at a time which suits you to order a meeting, where you will be taken through every step of the way – from the designing process to building, not forgetting our renown post sales service.

Every section in the conservatory design process has been careful thought about. This includes a weatherseal forming using a lead flashing trim. This is cemented into the brickwall, unlike with other roof systems. The wall rafter has also been designed with a soak tray to tuck the lead seal into. Not only does this protect from the risk of future stains on the conservatory roof, but also gives a perfectly straight lead trim line.

To make your conservatory complete, Conservatory Outlet use a watertight gasket seal between the glass and frames of the windows and roof. However, the black lines of the gasket can be off-putting to some, therefore we offer the option of specially engineered internal gaskets designed to seal under the frame. This reduces the visible part of the gasket, creating a neater finish around the glass both inside and outside of your brand new conservatory.

There are many different colour options to chose from – including a variety of woodgrain effect finishes. Woodgrain conservatories are equipped with aluminium top caps, because they can withstand higher temperatures. Every detail has been considered to ensure the conservatories are top quality and last for many, many years.

There are also finishing touches to install. These can create a magnificent feature to your new center piece. Blinds can be fitted, under floor heating installed, furniture added, even power points added for that big screen television. Privacy can also be a factor, Conservatory Outlet understand this and offer a range of 5 different levels of obscure PVC-U panels – allowing privacy from neighbours.

Conservatory Outlet use local reputable dealers across the UK, covering Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Shropshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Conservatory Information

A conservatory is one of the most dramatic and impressive improvements that can be made to a home. A conservatory radically transforms the property, adding both value and living space. There are endless possibilities with the extra space for both work or social occasions. It can be used as a place to dine and entertain, a play room, a study or an office in which to work.

The historical development of conservatories is unavoidably connected to the progress made in the manufacture of flat glass over the last two hundred years. Conservatories first appeared during the Victorian era of 19th Century Europe. At the time they were used for conserving botanical treasures from around the world. They were a method of displaying social status in a class system.

Today the role of the conservatory has changed. A consumer can select a wide variety of material such as aluminum, PVC, hardwood, treated softwood and other styles. Developments in the technology of glass has also contributed to the popularity of today’s conservatories. Double glazing has virtually eliminated the condensation that was inevitable with the older single-glazed conservatories. The low-E glass guarantees an excellent level of thermal efficiency and special coated glass helps control solar rays.

A conservatory is convenient to use, easy to maintain and fast to construct, normally taking approximately two weeks. uPVC Conservatories offer a fantastic extension to any home.
