Conservatory Outlet have a fantastic range of conservatories available, whether you want a traditional and contemporary appearance. The range includes bespoke conservatories, gable conservatories, victorian conservatories, edwardian conservatories, p-shape conservatories and lean-to conservatories.

Or if you’re after a more Mediterranean feel, the lean-to conservatories may be perfect for your needs. The lean-to conservatories are box shape in design and the beauty about them, is that they are able to be installed in more awkward areas than the more complex designs.

Bespoke conservatories and orangeries supplied in Europe

Monday, January 12th, 2009

A TEESSIDE-BASED bespoke designer of upvc conservatories and orangeries has broken into Europe for the first time after sealing five-figure contracts with two companies in the Netherlands.

Hartburn-based Vetro Vivo – established by qualified draughtsman Mike Farrell two years ago – has also won a six-figure contract to design a new restaurant at Headlam Hall near Darlington and is eyeing up Asia, Indonesia, Dubai and Russia to boost current annual revenues of more than £300,000.

The company is also opening a joinery operation to part-make some products and eventually hopes to bring all manufacturing in-house.

Mike, who spent 12 years working for a major conservatory manufacturer, says: “Why keep a business in your back yard when there are opportunities all over the world? We have spent two years building up a UK-wide client base and I see no reason why we cannot tap into projects going on in other countries.”

The name ‘Vetro Vivo’ – Italian for Living Glass – was born from Mike’s passion for producing designs and buildings that make the people within them feel alive. A keen traveller, he has developed a studious eye for different architectural styles in countries such as Australia and Thailand.

Orangery prices – How much do orangeries cost?

Conservatories and Orangeries UK

There is a bit of confusion from people in the UK about exactly what an ‘orangery‘ is.  And how much do they cost?

Well, the orangeries we sell at Conservatory Outlet are more like modern, contemporary glass extensions.

The main feature of our orangeries is that we utilise brickwork or stone columns within the design, so that you don’t have the uPVC conservatory bay pole or corner posts you would normally find on a traditional uPVC conservatory.

The images shown are taken from the Lancashire Conservatory Outlet showroom in Leyland in Lancashire. There is also an orangery on display at the Cheshire Conservatory Outlet showroom in Holmes Chapel.

Also, we tend to fit an internal lighting pelmet with downlighters which makes a real feature to the inside of the orangery, and sets it apart from a normal conservatory. Basically, the orangery feels more like a glass extension or sunroom with a combination of glazed frames and walls. We normally install a glass roof on our orangeries, too, and there are a range of glazing options available.

There are numerous orangery designs available, including Victorian Orangeries, Edwardian Orangeries and more contemporary orangeries.

The real advantage of Conservatory Outlet orangeries is that they are very affordable.  They do cost a little bit more than a conservatory of the same size, but not much more!

If you are looking to get a quote for an orangery or just need a bit more advice then fill in our quotation request form, or visit one of our conservatory showrooms and speak with a sales advisor.
